Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi, i m nasru from chennai.. i got a hood in my chest from past 2 years but it wont pain a lot but it very annoying thing to me coz i cant wear any t-shrts as i like.... i have consulted a doctor.. he said me take an x-ray .. i took and gave him.. he said, it does nt aftr few year it will be back like before.. can any one please tel.. wat s the way to clear tat hooooood..
I understand your concerns. I wonder what the diagnosis is after an x-ray was taken. Although I believe that the tumor is benign in nature due to your doctor ignoring it and having you not taking any steps to have it cleared by surgery, I wonder if it something that would recur when you have it surgically removed. I believe if this is the case then your doctor did the right thing. However, getting a second opinion may be helpful in your situation to relieve your anxiety.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
