Have Dysautonomia. Hemoglobin And RBC Is Low. On Aransep Injection. Have Fever. Suggestions?
I have Dysautonomia and I am bedridden from it. My lab tests are as follows. I live in Canada so, the units will be metric. My hemoglobin is low and I am on Aranesp (erythropoietin) injections. It is 108 g/L. My iron is below normal at 10 umol/L and my WBC count is above normal at 3.8 10E9/L 6 weeks before and are now 3.5 E9/L. Also my RBC are have been too low since Jan. they are 3.4 10E12/L. My WBC count and fever do not react as they should because of my disease. My temperature has been low grade. Normal temperature for me is 35.5 C and it has been around 36.7 to 37.9. It is hard for me to know if my temperature is up, because I have excessive sweating from my autonomic system not working properly. The only time I know I have a fever is if I start shivering. I have been uncontrollably tired. Falling asleep while eating and waking 3 hours later with food in my mouth still. It is like narcolepsy. I had a normal urinalysis, but have had many stones pass in the past. Can you please tell me what my blood work is suggesting?

AS I CAN SEE FROM YOUR LABS, YOU HAVE LOW Hb AND LOW WBC. WELL IF YOUR PLATELETS ARE ARE ALSO LOW THEN IT IS GENERALLY TERMED AS PANCYTOPENIA. THERE CAN BE MULTIPLE CAUSES FOR IT BUT IN YOUR CASE I WILL PUT A VIRAL INFECTION ON TOP MOST.
SECONDLY YOU CAN HAVE A BONE MARROW ANALYSIS TO LOOK FOR CAUSE AS IT HELPS. PLEASE GET AN ULTRASOUND ABDOMEN DONE TO CHECK YOUR SPLEEN SIZE AS IN SOME DISEASES SPLEEN GET ENLARGED IN INFECTIONS TOO. I HOPE IT HELPED. THANKS
