According to the history it suggests the formation of Ranula which is a painless growth in the floor of the tongue .It is a lesion occuring because of the obstruction of the sublingual salivary gland or adjacent minor salivary gland.
I would advice you to see your dentist to rule out the exact cause for the flap formation .This can be treated by excision of the sublingual gland or marsuplization can be done .

The flap developed on the floor of mouth may be due to many reasons-

pulp polyp developed thro' the interdental spaces between the decayed teeth.

chronic cheek biting.

sharp tooth edges causing traumatic occlusion.

ranula type of growth due to accumulation of salivary gland secretion.

I would suggest you to-

visit a dentist regarding exact diagnosis and treatment plan.

get your decayed teeth filling.

sharp edges of tooth has to be grinded AND smoothened.

frequent warm saline rinses may be helpful.

Painless growth seen at the floor of the mouth can be a cystic swelling caused due to inflammation of minor salivary glands known as sublingual salivary gland present below the tongue.
this cyst is called as ranula , you need to visit a oral surgeon and get the examination done .
Treatment part includes enucleation of the cyst and excision of the cystic sac along with its lining to prevent reoccurence which is common among such cysts followed by a course of medication.
Another possibility can be a gum boil or gingival abscess seen due to infection caused by accumulation of food debris or plaque deep in the gums and root surfaces.
Get the exact evaluataion done by a dentist which helps in correct treatment.

sometimes, there could be a polyp which has developed there.

it could also be the result of chronic cheek biting in that area.

could be gingival over growth or sometimes a gum boil.

all these are differential diagnosis,

exact evaluation can be made after clinical examination only(palpation, percussion).

an xray should also be taken to see underlying pathology then accordingly it can be managed.

hi your problem seems to be of an gingival growth, or it may be inflamed or overgrowth of the salivary duct openings, see a dentist it may not be something big but do not ignore
