Have Done Health Check Up, Normal Tests, Given Atorfen, Remyline. Atorfen For?

I am 46 years old vegeterian. Last week had health checkup. My BP was 130/90, LDL cholestrol was 133, Homocystine was 15.6. Vitamin B12 was 350. Everything else is normal including stress test, PFT, ECG, lipid profile, sugar fasting / PP, liver function etc. Doctor has prescribed Atorfen 10 mg and Remyline D for 3 months.What is Atorfen for ? Advance thanks.

     Atorfen is a combination of Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate given for Dyslipidemia (High Cholesterol, Triglyceride). Your LDL is high – it should be 100 or less. You also need life style modifications like diet & exercise; avoiding tobacco & alcohol...
     Remylin is given for your elevated homo-cysteine levels / It has methylcobalamin, alpha lipoic acid, pyridoxine & folic acid

You may have to take them life long / primary prophylaxis...
Repeat the test after 6 to 8 weeks / Discuss with your doctor
