Have Fibromyalgia. Taking Gabapentin. Have Arthritis In Knee. Symptoms Of Which Disease?
My fibromyalgia pain is moving about my body from hips to calves to hands and arms. I have been taking Gabapentin 300mg. 3x a day. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not. What else could these symptoms be if it is NOT FMS? I also have severe arthritis in my knees, and I wonder if these other pains are also arthritis. I have had episodes of this for over 8 years, with long periods of remission.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The intermittent pain that you have described is likely to be related to polyarthritis. It is not necessarily related to fibromyalgia. Taking mild pain killer and doing a hot fomentation of the affected areas will help in decreasing the discomfort.
