Have Had Mirena. Have Nausea, Diarrhea, Sore Breasts, Chills, Irregular Periods. On Promethazine. Could I Be Pregnant?

I woke up this morning with severe nausea that has progressed throughout the day. I had diarrhea early but that has subsided. My breasts are very sore and I have chills. I have had the Mirena..this is my 5th year. I took promethazine this. Morning (for a previous condition that I had) and I'm still very nauseated. I took a pregnancy test a couple of weeks ago because I thought I may have been. I don't have a regular period anymore because of the Mirena so I'm not sure what's going on...what's your advice? Could I really be pregnant?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have might be related to the hormonal changes caused by Mirena itself. These are not likely to be due to pregnancy. The mild spotting that you have is likely to subside on its own in 2-3 weeks.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
