Have Hot Flashes, Fatigue, Nipples Pain. Had Hysterectomy. On Estrogen Patch. Is That Sufficient?
I had a hysterectomy over 8 years ago. I was on the estrogen patch and was getting hot flashes like crazy. I took it off for a week and noticed I felt better.. It's now been three weeks without the estrogen patch and I have had no hot flashes. But for the past two days, My breast/nipples are literally killing me. Like when I had my children.. they hurt really bad and I am extremely achy.. please help. I have also been fatigue Please help
Hi, Thanks for consulting us. This is quite unusual to feel better after stopping estrogens as far as hot flashes are concerned & your breast symptoms are also unexpected. I strongly recommend you to have a serum prolactin level checked ( to find out the cause of your breast symptoms) & also have one trans-vaginal ultrasound to rule out any hormone producing tumor in that area. In addition also check your Thyroid levels ( serum TSH). Please visit a physician as soon as possible to have a thorough systemic review. Best wishes.
