Have Pain In Ear While Yawning Or Burping And Fluttering In Ears. Cause?
Hi, I have been experiencing pain in both ears whenever I yawn, burp or hiccup . This varies from sharp to mild pain. When I yawn I also experience a sensation of a burst of pressure . Also, I get a vibration/fluttering sensation in my ears, often triggered by loud noise. Finally, I also get a crackling sounds in my ears when moving the ear muscle and a popping sound when I shout/ scream . Thanks!
thanks for your query. I thinks its a Eustachian tube dysfunction. Take nasal decongestion drop like otrivin or orinase nasal drop for decongestion of nasopharynx and Eustachian tube area. Along with that take antihistaminics like Fexofenadin tablets and mucolytis drugs like acetylcysteine. Take steam inhalation atleast 2 times a day that will increase mucociliary clearance. Do not Blow the nose forcefully or avoid swimming or air travel for few days. Thanks.
