Have Pain In The Back And Stomach. Advised For A Raspa Procedure Without Ultrasound. Is It Advisable?

my friend is single and her stomach really hurts a lot, after she had a friend massage her back and also her stomach. she just went to a doctor earlier, and was told that she will need a Raspa procedure or D&C. i ask her was so sudden? i dont think she is bleeding. does it have to go with the procedure without ultrasound first?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
You didn't mention for which cause doctor adviced D&C.
If she didn't examine your friend, let your friend first undergo physical examination and ultrasound to find out the possible cause for her problem.
Then according to the reports she can plan further management.
So you better discuss these things with the doctor and proceed according to her advice.
