Have Swelling On Foot Due To Shoe Bite. Took Antibiotics, Tetanus Injection. Any Instant Remedy?

Hello doctor,

I have developed immense swelling on my right foot due to repeated shoe bite. I have started taking anitbiotics namely Amoxyclav, Diclofenac SR as per doctor's prescription for cellulitis. Despite taking medicines for 2 days, the swelling is not reducing and is rather spreading. I have to go to work and there is no escape. Please suggest some instant remedy including any home remedy to prevent spread of infection. I have also taken tetanus injection as a precautionary measure.

Hi,
Antibiotic Amoxyclav is very good for soft tissue infection.
Continue with this medicine and now you will start improving.
At the site of infection if cut is there, go for proper dressing with antibiotic cream.
Do not use shoes for few days.
Ok and take care.
