Should I Be Concerned About Oozing Yellowish Liquid From The Wounded Knee?
I fell over the other day and scraped my knee pretty badly. I'm sure I washed the dirt out and covered it with a plaster. It's now been a few days and every time I remove the plaster to cover it again, the wound is covered in a yellowish-ooze and the plaster is covered in a clear-yellowish liquid. I've looked online to see if it's healing fine or infected but I have been getting mixed reviews
Hi, From history it seems that you got soft tissue infection on knee producing cellulitis. You may require one course of antibiotic medicine course to control infection. Clean the wound with antiseptic lotion and then go for dressing with antibiotic cream. Give rest to the part. Ok and take care.
