Have Swelling On The Neck. Painful. Feel Bones Rubbing Each Other. Had An Accident. Related?
I have some swelling on the back center of my neck just above the hairline. It isn't really painful and I noticed a day or so earlier that it felt like some bones or maybe disc was out place. I could feel bones rubbing together and it was very discomforting and felt like something was about to break. The next day this particular problem seemed to go away and that's when I noticed the swelling. It's been two days since I noticed the swelling and it seems to be worse. I was in a car accident in 2005 and suffered what I think was whiplash and had reoccurring problems like this for several years but have never had this swelling up until now... Do you think this could be related to the accident or do you think it could be something else.
hi thanks for your question. I think its related to accident, you need to see orthopedic surgeon for spine x-ray and further management. Meanwhile take some pain killers and antibiotics as you wait for appointment. Hope I answered you question, will be happy to help you if you have other queries.
