Have Vertigo Problem. Taking Novelon Medication. What Can Be Reason And The Solution?
Hello Doctor...
My wife is only 25. She has used Novelon for 3 months (7 days a month, 1 pill daily). Noe after 3 months she is suffering from a vertigo problem. Vertigo stage stays for a while. Its happening any time like - while lying on bed or getting up etc. We have already consulted ENT specialist. He has asked for 2 test viz. 1) Audimetry and 2) ENG. Plz suggest what can be the reason. Can it be indication of some difficult problem?
Hello, First of all stop taking contraceptive pills. Drink lots of water and eat healthy and nutritious food. get her blood pressure and blood sugars and thyroid functions checked. Yes audiometry and ENG are very important and basic tests for the vertigo and should be done to rule out causes of vertigo .in addition if the condition persists for long then you may require MRI brain. vertigo can be diagnosed by examination so follow your doctor.
