Have White Lines In My Inner Cheeks. Run From Back To Front. Mouth Feels Sore, Bit Numb, Burning Sensation. Oral STD?
Hi I have white lines in my inner cheeks. They run from the back of my cheeks to the front. My mouth feels sore, my tongue a bit numb. My throat also dry and slight burning sensation. I'm wondering if this could be early signs of an oral STD. I recently (21 days) engaged in unprotected oral sex. The burning sensation in mouth occured prior to the oral sex. The man I'm dating is a heavy smoker. He says he's not carrying any STDs to his knowledge. I'm not sure if I should see a Dentist or an ENT.

the white line inside your Mouth is called Linea Alba.it is a harmless white line.
it is a horizontal streak on the inner surface of the cheek, level with the biting plane. It usually extends from the anterior portion to the posterior teeth and can extend to the inner lip mucosa and corners of the mouth.
This white line, if pronounced, is indicative of a cheek chewer. Any stimulation that causes thickening of the mucosa, whether it be mechanical or chemical, can be dangerous if continued for a long period of time.
I would advise you to try and to discontinue this habit.apart from this there is no need for worry.
