Having Burning Sensation In Stomach, Throat. How To Prevent It?
I am 22 years old Male. My stomach burns at night even though i don\ t eat any spicy food and if I sleep flat the burning sensation comes all the way from my stomach and reaches my throat , so I started to put a big pillow which reduced the burning to come to my throat and i have some blood on the tissue and sometimes little bit on stool could you please tell me whats my condition and what should I do to prevent it?
Hi ! What are your food habits ? If you eat frequently from outside, your intestines might be harboring some kind of infection, amebiasis being one of the common , in which these kind of symptoms can occur. You should go for a routine stool test for ova and cyst before reporting to your doctor, who may prescribe some anti amebic drug for you along with a proton pump inhibitor and a prokinetic agent. The problem in your throat is due to regurgitation of acid /bile. In such cases, you have to keep the head end of the bed elevated so that the regurgitation becomes less. Blood in the stool could be due a co-existing anal pathology like hemorrhioids and a fissire. If it increases then you may have to get yourself reviewed by a genral surgeon, or a gastro-enterologist who may suggest you to undergo an ultratound and a upper GI endoscopy to exclude other pathological conditions. Wishing you an early recovery.
