Having Discomfort In Abdomen After Sex, Swelling, Acid Reflux With Constipation. Is It Due To Ovarian Cyst?

I have been having a lot of discomfort lately in my abdomen . It happens most frequently and most intense either during extensive exercise or during or after sex and my stomach will swell at times. A lot of the time it occurs more often in my right side than my left. I have been having severely abnormal periods and a lot of acid reflux with some constipation . And when I get aroused my stomach seems to bloat a lot. I read somewhere that these signs could mean I have ovarian cysts but I am really worried I could be pregnant.

Hi there ~

These are all valid concerns. One thing that is very apparent from your description of abdominal symptoms is that you are having problems with gastritis /duodenitis. It is an easily treatable condition and you need to see a physician for the same. Stress, in what ever form, either sex or work or any other form of physical disease like constipation can make gastritis worse. Please avoid these stressors. I would rather have you be seen by a gynecologist to rule out ovarian cysts as it would involve a routine ultrasound and a pelvic examination. Also consult a psychiatrist to get the anti anxiety medications that are much needed to help with your stressors. Exercise, yoga, pranayama, dhyana and any kind of meditation are also helpful.

Take care and have a lovely day !
