Having Urge To Urinate And Difficulty To Hold. After Urination Have Feeling To Urinate More. Have IUD. Suggest?

I am 53 years old and in good health. I have recently started having a constant urge to urinate and find that it's increasingly difficult to hold it for any amount of time, When I do urinate I have an instant sensation that fills by pelvic area. There's no burning or pain but it leaves me feeling as if I need to urinate more but can;t. I have an IUD - could that possibly be part of the problem?

Hi,
It seems that you might behaving prolapse of bladder called cestocele.
In this condition this type of feeling is there.
I do not think IUD can give rise to this problem.
Consult your Gynaec and get examined.
Ultra sound examination will give better clue about your problem.
Ok and take care.
