Heavy Box Fell On Foot, Since Then Swollen. Looks Like Bump Underneath Skin. Treatment Required?

A corner of a heavy box fell on top of my daughter's foot, two weeks ago. She just told me her foot has been swollen since then, it feels like a bump underneath the skin, that might be full of blood. She thought it would get better with time, but it has not. She does not have insurance. Is this something severe, and where should she go for treatment. Thank you.

Hi,
Seeing the nature of injury there might be having fracture of metatarsal bones.
Bump might be due to collection of blood under the skin following injury.
Go for x-ray foot and rule out fracture.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days.
give her some anti-inflammatory medicines for 3 days.
Ok and take care.
