High Temperature. Does Not Eat Much. Why Does Her Stomach Pain?
My 5 year old daughter has had a high temp (39) on and off for the past 6 weeks (went to docs 3 weeks ago and was told it was viral) but keeps complaining of a stomach pain. I ve tried touching her stomach but she says it hurts, then picks up again and Ok for a few hours till the next bout of pain. She s also sleeping more, not eating much, but then she s not the best eater going. Should I go back to my doctors, I m fed up of going and being made to feel I m wasting their time.Thanks.

Yes, you definitely should visit your doctor once again. Fever for so long time can be a symptom of serious disease. She may suffer from urinary tract infection, some abdominal infection or even a leukemia. She should have blood work, urine analysis and abdominal ultrasound at first. Her lungs should be checked and all lymph nodes.
