History Of Slipped Disc. Have Stiff Back After Physical Work. Okay To Conceive?

Hi, I had slip disc thrice ,and the last time I had it was in august 2012. now it is kind of recovered but it feels stiff in my back many a times, especially when i do some more physical work than usual( usually i do tasks avoiding much movement). I have a fear that it may trouble me if i conceive ( or should I drop the idea altogether)?

Hi thanks for your question.
Consultation with orthopedician and gynaecologist is very important before planning to conceive with a slipped disc. As level and degree of prolapsed disc is very important in deciding the feature course. Pregnancy can put further load on disc and ligaments and it can further aggravate the problem. More over normal delivery will be very difficult. Lscs has to be planned .
Hope this answers your question
