Hit My Head, Knot, Bruising On Palms, Headaches, Soreness. Suffered A Concussion?
I fell in the street and hit my head. I was able to put both hands down to somewhat brace myself, but I hit my head. I had a knot which went down some and bruising on my palms. 2 days later my neck , back, upper parts of my body started hurting. I feel very so sore. I haven t had any headaches . Just the soreness from where I hit my head. Did I suffer a concussion? Did I receive a whiplash? Why am I so sore?
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. Trauma could have led to hematoma or a soft tissue swelling. this can cause soreness and pain which can last for 7-10 days. Mostly it recovers by self and you just have to give it some time. It doesnt appear to be whiplash or concussion. If it is hurting a lot then you can take acetaminophen. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. In future if you wish to contact me directly, you can use the below mentioned link: bit.ly/dr-srikanth-reddy
