Hospitalized Due To Dehydration. Best Way To Avoid It ?
I recently stayed overnight in the hospital, due to dehydration. I am a 68 yr. old female and am very active. (I still work at Rite Aid part-time.) And of course you can't drink water "on the floor", which I suspect was a big part of the problem. I'm fine now, but need the best way to avoid that ever happening again. (I guess Gatoraide?) Thank you for your help.
If you were having dehydration it means your body loose water, very rapidly, so its essential ti take as much fluid as you can, i would suggest you to drink plenty of water. Oral rehydration solutions are to be taken. If you feel nauseated try sipping of small amounts of fluids. Donot wear excessive clothes, and clothes which causes salivation, and keep your body cool by seeking shade or air conditioning shelter.
Hope this helps out,
Regards.
