How Can A Fragile Cervix With Stomach Hardening Be Treated?

My names shelby. I m 26 weeks pregnant and my belly feels like there is a huge bruise inside of it. I have been in and out of the hospital with bleeding and was told I had a fragile cervix. And was dialed to a 1.4 but I m on bedrest now and my cervix closed back up. I also have hardening in my stomach that occurs every now and then without pain. Help!

Hi and welcome to healthcare forum,
At 26 weeks, the uterus has expanded upwards into the abdomen, so what you feel as "hardening"is actually the contraction of the uterus. The uterus is mainly made of "muscles" that develop as the uterus increases in size. As the contractions are painless, you don't have to worry about it much. Painless uterine contractions are termed "Braxton-Hicks Contractions", named after its discoverers(you may google out this term if you wish), hese are a normal feature of pregnancy. However you need to continue on the regime prescribed by your obstetrician if you have had any bleeding anytime in pregnancy.
