Hi,
You had an abortion after having a successful first pregnancy. The cause of your abortion should be identified and the products of conception should have been evaluated for any genetic defects. Duphaston contains progesterone that helps in conditions of progesterone deficiency. It may not be useful if the cause of the abortion is not a hormonal deficiency. If the serum beta-hCG levels are not doubling, it is not a good sign for your pregnancy. You should see your gynecologist for further evaluation and management. Wish you good health.
