How Can I Get Rid Of The Acne Caused By Taking Diane 35 For PCOS?
hi, i am 29 years old unmarried,having regular but scanty periods since last 4 years,doc diagnosed it is pcos,my doc suggested diane-35 for 3 months use, but it causes burst of acne on my face within 10 days so i stopped taking it more,your advise plz?i am going to marry within 2 months hopefully but baby is not in my plan till decmbr 2014.

Diane 35 in case of pcos need to taken regularly for at least 2-3 months for it to show visible results. 10 days is too short for it to be effective.
I would advice that you restart it as advised by your treating dermatologist. You need to restart it beginning from the first day of the menstural cycle and then take it continuously for 21 days.
Apart from diane 35 topical antiacne medicines like clindamycin for day time application and benzoyl peroxide for night time application can be used as well.
Oral antibiotics like either Azithromycin or Doxycycline can also be started depending on the severity of acne.
