How Can I Treat My Hives At Home?

how can i treat my hives at home? i have taken benadryl only for two days and hasnt really helped yet. i got hives due to a medication i was taking for an infection in my finger. i m done taking my prescription and two days after, i got hives. what can i do at home rather than going to a doctor?

If the hives are there because of the medication and if you had no past history of it early, then the best thing is to abstain from the drug which you are taking and wait for some time. Your body has got its own mechanisms to get rid of the infection. It may be by bringing about little suppuration of the part affected or by bringing up some raised temperature. Thereafter you will be relieved of the infection.
If you are again going to suppress the hives which are produced because of the drugs, you are going to do harm for your body. Hives also will automatically get relieved within a short period without any further medication.
