How Can The Swelling Apocrine Sweat Glands With Pain Be Treated?

Hi, my apocrine sweat glands in my armpits have just started to swell. They are a bit painful to the touch, and there are 3 - the largest being about the size of a tiny pea. Any suggestions how to proceed? (I am 41 yrs old, 5 3 , 145lbs) My Naturopath told me what it (probably) was but he s not a dermatologist. He suggested contrast hydrotherapy (hot compress for 3 minutes, cold compress for 30 seconds).

Hello,

Maybe the cold compress decreases the size of this sweat gland, but I prefer to see an endocrinologist to examine you and take some blood tests to see the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
