hello doctor,,,im 22yr old grl.......10yrs back i was treated for ITP in gangaram hospital....and i was given high dose of prednisolone and IVIG injections......since then i hav gained lots of weith at around 85kg...im 5'3.since then im not able to loose weight.because i study in a medical colle.....im in 3rd yr bds student.
1.Do a walk for 45 mins daily. Try not to miss it at any cost 2. Drink plenty of water around 4-5 liters a day. 3. Keep yourself happy
Try to follow undermentioned diet plan 1) Morning empty stomach – Madhoodaka (Add 10-15 ml of Honey in 50 ml of lukewarm water)
2) Takra (Buttermilk) – to prepare buttermilk – to ½ lt. of freshly prepared thick curd add 5 glasses of water churn it and remove butter. To this add Ginger paste 5 gm or Garlic paste 5 gm or Hingwashtak chooran 5gm. Consume this processed buttermilk every hourly from 9 AM to 4 PM.
3) Breakfast at 8 AM to be taken with Porridge or Manda prepared using Rice/ Wheat/ Barley/ Green gram/Horse gram/ Broken wheat or Puffed rice. To prepare Porridge- For 30 gm of rice (or other grains mentioned earlier) use 500ml of water - pressure cook for 10-15 mins; it can be garnished with onion or garlic or coriander leaves, salt or add only salt with pepper powder as per taste. * For Horse gram – pressure cook it for 30-35 mins.
4) Lunch at 1 PM to be taken with Rice(small bowl) and Daal or Vegetable soup (mixed veg) 200-250 ml or Vegetable salads (small bowl) 200-250 gms or 2 chapaties (of equal quantity of wheat and barley) prepared on non stick pan with Dal or Stuffed Pranthaas filled with Spinach.
5) Dinner at 8 PM to be taken with 2 Chapaties with ½ bowl Dal or Kichadi prepare with Moong and Rice. To prepare Kichadi – 25gm Rice and 25 gm Moog daal; pressure cook it for 15-20 mins, garnish it with tomato, onion and coriander leaves.
