How Does A Heating Blanket Bring Down Body Temperature?
I've been sick for 4 days with chills/shivering. Tylenol worked but after a while (5-6 hours) the symptoms returned. I was able to avoid the chills with a heating blanket. It seems strange the heating blanket made me feel better without Tylenol. If I had a fever, wasn't I just raising my body temperature further with the blanket?

Not blanket but any thing covering body while having chills and temperature helps getting down temperature down.
By covering body there is more sweating and perspiration skin of the body is getting cool bringing temperature down.
But you have to take plenty of water to bring sweating.
