How Should A Bug Inside Ear Be Treated?

I want to know what happens if a bug should crawl into your ear. I had this sensation a few weeks ago and slight hearing loss.. Saw the doctor who said I had an earwax plug and they washed it out. I still have a sensation of something in the ear and on a second visit to doctor s office was told by physician assistant that she there seemed to be someting in it but offered no advise. Can a bug crawl into the ear, lay egg or morph into pupa, and go into throat or elsewhere in body? How should this be treated, if so?

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to ear irritation.

For that, you may require auroscope examination by ENT surgeon.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

He may advise antibiotics ear drops after detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
