I have been diagnosed with Peripheral neuropathy. I periodically am awaken at night, like now, with a burning pain on the top of my right foot just behind my toes. I just had my yearly phisical and my blood work was all fine. Any ideas on how to manage the pain?

the answer to your problem is three steps: 1. you need to know that such problem does not occur by itself. 2. what is the cause of this burning sensation, usually this type of pain occurs in diabetic neuropathy, herniated lumbar disc, or arteritis. 3. once the underlying problem is taken care of, this burning sensation will go off. get in touch with your GP and get yourself on these lines.
