How To Cure Ear Infection?

Hi, i have a one year old daughter that has been getting ear infectons since she was about 6 months. Her doctor has given us antibiotics and it seems to help her but she still manages to get them. She has one now and it still doesnt seem to go away. Her doctor reccomented ear tubes. My question is should i let her get the surgery? what are the pros and cons about getting ear tubes?

Thanks for the query.
Repeated ear infections are frequently common in children and we can't do much about it. Do culture and ct head do decide for antibiotics or surgery.
If attack are more than 3-4 per year , which may cause permanent hear loss, facial palsy, delayed speech development then one can go for surgery.
Risk are very less like scarring to eardrum, perforation in the ear which can be fixed easily, discharge from the ear.
