hi just want to ask the meaning of my father's laboratory result. he had hepa B few years ago and he recently undergone lab test and it shows that HbsAG (cut off value: 1.00 result: 1510) reactive and his HBeAG (cut off value: 0.105 result: 0.005) non- reactive. does my father still have hepa b infection?

Hbsag positvity suggest present infection or past infection or may be vaccination. however your HBeAG is nonreactive, it suggest you dont have current infectivity. so dont worry just be relaxed. HbsAG will remain positive because of past infection. no current problem is there.
thanks for using health care magic.
