My doctor prescribed Foban ointment for the inside of my nose in order to heal the skin from a bleeding nose. This was issued after the fact that the day before I had had my nose cauterized and it failed to work. After applying the foban ointment it has caused my nose to run and I may have sniffed and swallowed some of the ointment in the process. What will happen? Is this harmful? I have attempted to stop sniffing in order for the ointment to work.
