I have a persistent dry cough. I was prescribed penicillin, benzonatate 200 mg. I have also been taking mucinex. Nothing is stopping the cough. I recently started drinking ginger tea and eating raw ginger. The cough has subsided but refuses to stop. Help!!!!
In dry cough you do not need antibiotic. In case if throat irritation is the cause then regular warm saline gargling will help you.Maximum you can take Grillingtus 2tea spoon 3 times a day.Get your haemogram and look for eusnophil count.
