38 kgs is very low wt, few tips u can follow to become healthy:
Eat more fruits and vegetables.
Avoid junk foods.
Drink 3 lts of water a day.
Take some good protein and vitamins supplements.
Check ur Hemoglobin, if less start iron supplements.
start walking for 30-40 mins a day.
do this for 2 months if still no improvement consult ur doctor for further evaluation.
To gain weight , you need to take food which has high protein content.. take a boiled egg, full glass of milk, banana, twice a day.... eating non veg foods like chicken, mutton, beef, fish will help to gain weight very rapidly... Only by eating nutritious food more and continuously , you can gain weight, not by sleeping or doing exercises...

read your prob NEHA, your weight is only 38 kg metter of worry. first you should the cause of it. you should get CBC, Thyroid profile, Serum Calcium, Liver function test, you have to rule iut TB also.
ok meanwhile you should take higs protine n fatty diet, take heavy breakfast, start a liver tonic like LIV-LIV 10ml three times a day n multivitamin tab once a day.
you must gain weight within month after this trial.
