Injured Hand. Gets Tired, Aches When Gripped, Lumpp On Back Of Hand. X-ray Normal. Problem?
Hi, I injured my hand 6 months ago. It was damaged At work. My fingers got pulled and then my hand got hit with a hard object. I haven't regained full use- as it gets tired easily and gripping for long periods such as bike ridin make it ache. Anyway, I have a lump on the back of my hand under the ring finger almost on the bone. I had X-rays when it first happened but they couldn't find anything obvious
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The persistent ache and lump on the hand is likely to be due to a tendon injury in the area. This can be best diagnosed after an MRI scan. Surgical repair might be needed for relief. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
