Irregular Periods. Ultrasound Done. Nothing Found. Cause?

I'm 43 years old. I've been having problems with my period. The last 4 months I have had a period last from 15-29 days. Then no period for 6-10 days. I have had an ulta sound done twice. The first time they found nothing. I just had another one done 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for results. They also checked my kidneys. What could be going on?

Hello,

There’s a high possibility of the symptoms which you are going through to be attributed to the onset of menopause. Irregular bleeding is one of the cardinal signs of perimenopause.

You should get this possibility ruled out from your gynecologist and start with hormonal replacement therapy.

Hope it helps.

Regards.
