i am 48yrs old. since last two yrs i am skipping my periods for 3to 4months.maximum stretch was 7 months then again i get my periods.but this time igot spotting on 25 april after 8-9 days it started properly my doc gave me fibril mf for 3 days. but less bleeding is (brownish in colour)still continued.itis almost 23 days. is it normal in pre menopause?now my doc has sugguested gynae cvp for 3 days.will my bleeding stop? please suggest.
Hi, As per your age, you are in the perimenopausal period and it is quite common for the cycles to get greatly disturbed and present in all sorts. I would ask you to see a gynecologist and get a complete exam, hormonal profile, pap smear and a trans-vaginal sonogram. It is advisable to have a complete check up often during this phase.
