Is Arthritis The Cause For The Pain And Swelling In The Joints Of My Hand ?
Hi I have severe pain in the joints in my little hand and at the base of one of my thumbs. The pain is there all the time and i have had it for about a month the joints are slightly swolen and warm and red I do have arthritis in my neck and back could it be this?

As you have artheritis in neck and back,and now pain and swellng on the thumb,it should be evaluated.
Go for RA test,
Go for Blood uric acid level.
there is possibility of having Gout.
