Is PCT Count .138 In Blood Normal?

what is PCT count in blood work? My daughter who is 17 had a level of .138. The blood work was done in Italy as we were on a trip there. She had stomach pains so we took her to hospital as no doctor was available. We were told it was just a stomach virus. They had taken blood and said all was fine, but I am reading it now and some of the numbers are not in range.

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have low normal platelet count. And its quite common in any viral infection. So no need to worry at all. It will come back to normal within few days. Just be relaxed. if you have any signs of bleeding then consult your doctor. Otherwise it's ok.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
