hello and welcome to health care magic,

Your wife seems to have developed an infective swelling below the ear and the medications given are good antibiotic and anti infallamatory medications. This is the usual line of treatment so do not worry.
You need to take them and complete the course and if the swelling does not get better then you can get an FNAC of the swelling done and get back to me or any ENT with the report

regards

Dr Sriram nathan
