Is It Drainage Causing Vomiting Which Then Is Followed By Cold Symptoms ?
My 2 year old and 5 year old daughter have been vomiting for a few hours. My two year old vomited on Sunday and now has a cough and runny nose. Today my 5 yr old is vomiting. Is it drainage causing vomiting which then is followed by cold symptoms? Neither had call symptoms prior to the vomiting.

both of them might have got viral gastroenteritis with URTI. since these are communicable easily gets transmittd form one person to other. consult pediatrician start treatment

I find this answer helpful
actually there is no real co relation between the two. they might be having acute gastroenteritis, which is just an infection inthe stomach (most harmless viral infection) which might have been caught from some food they both ate from outside or so. the cold can be simple nasal blosk secondary to vomiting, dont give any treatment now. just plain saline nasal drops & steam inhalation will help. if vomiting is more can use some medicine to control that (like domstal syrup)
