Is It Normal To Have Persistent Cough After Spray Painting?

My wife has had a persistent cough now for about 2 weeks after she spray painted an old piece of furniture in our garage and didn't use a mask. She's being treated with an antibiotic and cough suppressant, but the cough continues to plague her. Is this normal?

hello
spray painting without proper mask leads to inhalation of aerosols which gets deposited in lungs
antibiotic and cough suppressants are usually given
but if this condition is persisting for more than two weeks ,what i would suggest is that you get a radiographic examination done that is x-ray chest and than accordingly see your doctor
hope that helps
