Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I m 33 yrs old female. my weight is 132kgs my height is 5 7 inch. can u suggest me liposuction. i had 2 C-sections. I want to undergo liposuction, could tell me more about the same and the risks involved.
Liposuction per se is not considered a treatment modality for weight loss. Therefore, the most suitable patients are those who are already on a dietary plan and are exercising but cannot get rid of their extra weight. Your BMI is more than 40 which makes you a good candidate for bariatric surgery. You can go in for liposuction but you would typically require multiple procedures and the results cannot be guaranteed as you would have the potential for regaining your weight back. I would therefore urge you to consider bariatric surgery given your BMI.
Hello
Thanks for your query.
you can go for liposuction ,as amount of fat to be removed is decided by doctor & patient after discussion. There is a limit to the amount of fate aspirated, thigh ,buttocks & abdomen is the common areas from where fat is removed .there can be some side effects also.So not more than 10-15 kg fat be removed at one sitting.
