Hello,
Hernia are of four types:
1. Reducible
2. irreducible
3. Obstructed and
4. Strangulated
Treatment depends on the types of hernia.
Conservative treatment can only be carried out in REDUCIBLE HERNIA. Variety of truss are available BUT it CANNOT guarantee the reduction in progression of hernia.
I n all other surgery is the best option. So It is advisable to go for a surgical treatment.
Hope this helps you.
Thank you.
