Is There Any Need To Monitor The Health After Injury On Forehead?
My 6 yr old daughter accidently walked into the rod iron gate at our home. She immediately developed a goose egg bump on the center of her forehead. She was a little dazed immediately following accident. She did not loss consciousness or vomit, just a headache. i gave her ibuprofen and she rested. She seem to feel better has the hours have past, she even was hungry for dinner. I put her to bed for the night, should I wake her up in a couple hours to check her?

She doesn't have any major signs of head injury at present but you need to have a close watch on her for next 48 hrs. Watch for loss of consciousness, vomiting, seizures, giddiness, severe headache or ear/nose bleed in next 48 hrs. As of now 1)apply cold compression over the swelling, 2) let her rest and feed her adequately 3)continue ibuprofen. if ant such head injury signs occur take care to the hospital immediately for further management.
