Is Thick Vaginal Discharge Normal?

Since Thursday I have had a dark brown lumpy vaginal discharge. I finished my pack of birth control pills on Friday and today there was some blood mixed in with the discharge. It's getting thicker and there's more of it. Any ideas? I can't get to the doctor for a few more days.
