Labia Severely Swollen, Black Bruise After Several Session Of Sex. Applying Ice. How Will They Heal?
Hi, I just noticed after several sessions of sex in various postiions last night and then some this morning, my right labia is severely swollen and has a blackened bruise. This is the first time I've had sex in several months. This has never happened. I am now 52. I am applying ice now because I just noticed the bruise after checking it after urinating because it felt sore. Anything else I can do. I am resting because I also have a foot injury. Haven't worn clothes yet today. Can't really take Ibuprofen.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, The problem you are facing is due to severe & injurious sex you had! It's better to be avoided in future . All you can do is to keep the part clean & dry & cool.Always wipe from front to back. Application of antibiotic with betamethasone ointment will help. Anti inflammatory pills can be taken after food. Continue withthe rest, till you are OK If there is itching/ burning in urination, better to consult a Gynac for examination & proper medication. Thanks
