Lost His Senses. Anything Related To Neurology?

Hi, I am Aditi yesterday my Sister"s son apparently lost his senses.when taken to doctor they said percentage of oxygen in his mind is only 60% and also found the increased TLC.What still they are not able to figure out the exact problem due to which he lost his senses..today they have suggested us to do MRI...Can you tell me what could be the problem??Is that related to neurological sort of thing???

greetings.
lost his senses. can mean a lot of things.
to start with we do use it in normal sense as well.
but in your case you have mentioned the lesser oxygen values. that definitely can make a person behave abnormally as well as it can be lethal.
generalised more carbon dioxide can also lead to mental alterations.
is your nephew having fever or anything associated with it.does he have any history of seizures.
kindly reply for me to come to concrete diagnosis.
hope this helps.
